Where to Eat and Drink After the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show
You walked six marinas, climbed aboard boats that cost more than your street, and your feet would like a word. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show closes at 7 PM, and so does the patience of everyone trying to leave Seabreeze Boulevard at the same time.
Here’s the plan: the show facts you need for 2026, how to get in and out without losing an hour, and where to eat and drink after the boat show once you’re done looking at yachts you aren’t buying. Our pick is a vintage cocktail lounge with a real kitchen and its own parking lot, about 25 minutes north of downtown Fort Lauderdale, straight up Federal Highway.

Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2026: Dates, Hours and Venues
The 67th Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) runs Wednesday, October 28 through Sunday, November 1, 2026.
- Wed Oct 28 (Preview Day): 12 PM – 7 PM
- Thu Oct 29: 10 AM – 7 PM
- Fri Oct 30: 10 AM – 7 PM
- Sat Oct 31: 10 AM – 7 PM
- Sun Nov 1: 10 AM – 5 PM
One ticket covers all six locations: Bahia Mar Yachting Center (show headquarters, 801 Seabreeze Blvd), Hall of Fame Marina, Las Olas Marina, Superyacht Village at Pier Sixty-Six South, Pier Sixty-Six Marina and the Broward County Convention Center. Tickets are sold online only, so buy before you go at flibs.com.
Getting In and Out: Parking, Shuttles and the Water Taxi
The show treats the Broward County Convention Center (1950 Eisenhower Blvd) as its transportation hub. Park there and the free shuttles do the rest. They run from an hour before opening to an hour after closing:
- Purple: Convention Center ↔ Bahia Mar
- Light Green: Convention Center ↔ Superyacht Village ↔ Bahia Mar
- Red: Brightline Fort Lauderdale Station ↔ Riverside Hotel
- Blue: West Marine Center ↔ Convention Center
The water taxi is the scenic way between venues and costs extra; details are on the show’s shuttle and transportation page.
One tip from the locals: the Convention Center sits right off SE 17th Street, a few blocks from US-1. When you leave, Federal Highway north is the whole route to us. No interstate, no toll, no guessing.
Why Head North After the Boat Show
Las Olas and the beach strip near Bahia Mar are fun, and they’re also where a good chunk of 100,000 boat-show visitors will be looking for a table at 7:15 PM. If you’d rather sit down than stand in a lobby, a short drive buys you that.
- About 25 minutes north of downtown Fort Lauderdale, straight up US-1.
- Free parking on site. Nobody’s charging you $20 to park for dinner.
- A real kitchen, not a bar-snack menu with a burger on it.
- Room to talk. Vintage lounge, low lights and a bar crew that likes talking you into your next drink.
What to Eat After a Day on the Docks
Six marinas of walking earns you something with a bun. A few things people order on repeat (full list on our food and cocktail menu):
- The Mayor: half-pound Angus beef, cheddar, Revelry sauce, brioche bun.
- Prime Rib French Dip: garlic horseradish aioli, provolone, au jus for dunking.
- Jalapeño Popper Deviled Eggs: bacon crumbles and strawberry onion jam on top. Order two plates; they don’t last.
- Wagyu Skewers: with crostini, chimichurri and horseradish aioli.
- Swordfish Steak: sun-dried tomato beurre blanc over cauliflower rice. You did just spend all day around the ocean.
- Resident Vegan: grilled cauliflower steak on rosemary focaccia, made with as much care as anything else on the menu.

What to Drink: Craft Cocktails, Taps and Zero-Proof
The cocktail list is the reason a lot of people find us. Start with the Garden Witch: Don Fulano tequila, fresh yellow bell pepper juice, jalapeño, lime and agave. It’s bright, a little spicy and nothing like a frozen marg. It also comes with Lyre’s non-alcoholic spirit if you’re the one driving.
Other favorites: the Yuzu Voodoo (vodka, mango, yuzu, raspberry meringue), the Serpentarius (gin, prosecco, cucumber, lychee, ginger) and an Elijah Craig Old Fashioned. If you’re comparing spots, here’s our take on the best cocktail bars in Pompano Beach.
Beer people get a draft list with plenty of Florida breweries (Tank, Copperpoint, La Tropical), and the zero-proof menu (Beware Spirits) is a real menu, not soda with a lime.

Boat show weekend is also Halloween weekend. If you’re in town for both, our Halloween events guide has the full list, and there’s more live music in Pompano Beach every week.
If You’d Rather Stay Close to the Show
Fair is fair: if you’re staying on the beach or don’t want to drive, the show’s own water taxi stops at waterfront restaurants along the New River and the Intracoastal, including Shooters Waterfront and the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas. Book ahead on Friday and Saturday; everyone else had the same idea.
